Although research is often used to assist organizations with internal decision making, research can also support a broader public strategy of raising the profile of an issue, persuading elected leaders to take a stand given their constituents’ views, or creating a perception of the public will through data. The most effective means of doing so is through the release of “public” versions of the data to major media outlets. To this end, Lincoln Park Strategies is well versed in tailoring a campaign’s research design to ensure that the results are of interest and usable by major public media outlets.

Lincoln Park Strategies’ survey results and analysis have been featured in major media outlets such as The Washington Post, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, The Wall Street Journal, POLITICO, The Hill, LA Times, and the Huffington Post, principally because we have established a reputation as an insightful and methodologically rigorous research firm.

2025 National Omnibus

We are pleased to announce that in 2025 we will continue our monthly subscription plan for our omnibus surveys. This subscription plan offers 3, 5, or 10 questions each month. As has always been the case, you also have the option to buy one-off questions as needed. Similar to last year’s plan, you don’t have to use all your questions each month; a number of unused questions will roll over to the next month. The only restrictions are that we cannot run more than the specified number of questions per subscription at any given time and questions do not roll over from year to year. This helps ensure that our response rates stay consistent and respondents don’t end up taking a 30-minute survey.

THE BENEFITS OF A SUBSCRIPTION PLAN

There are many benefits to utilizing a monthly survey subscription. Most importantly, it gives you the flexibility throughout the year to test ideas for an upcoming project, initiative, messaging campaign, etc. to ensure you’re making the right decisions. And, because the methodology is extremely versatile, we are also able to target most population subsets (moms, dads, likely voters, etc.) to make sure we are talking to the right people to meet your research goals.

Our research can also help you:

  • Determine the general attitudes and issues that are most salient to target audiences

  • Explore general themes around which a narrative can be built

  • Measure awareness and favorability of current and potential elected office holders

  • Create a profile of the target audience based on demographic and psychographic data

  • Identify solutions that resonate with voter groups and pinpoint the most credible experiences, traits, characteristics and values associated with these solutions

Upon completion of the data collection (typically 4 days from start to finish), we will provide you with topline results in Word format and crosstabs across demographic groups in Excel format. The standard demographic groups would be gender, age, region, race, party ID, education, income, marital status, employment, and kids living in a household; any other demographics would need to be added and count as part of your monthly question allocation.

As is always the case, we are happy to work with you to craft the question wording, help with PR releases, public memos, or op-eds that highlight the data and messages that you want to get across. If desired, we are also able to provide a PowerPoint presentation including charts with demographic breakouts.
