Junior Analyst Position

Located on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, we are currently searching for qualified candidates to fill the associate-level position of Junior Analyst. This position has the option to be remote.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist research projects from beginning to end, working with clients to ensure research is tailored to their needs and goals.

  • Develop quantitative/qualitative research instruments to gauge public opinion, test and refine campaign messaging, identify strategic voter universes, and forecast Election Day performance.

  • Use SPSS and/or Q to analyze data for significant findings.

  • Produce innovative reports and presentations of findings for clients which communicate data heavy concepts in the most effective and meaningful way.

  • Draft memos and other written content, and proofread for grammar and data accuracy.

 Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A college degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience.

  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with long or irregular hours.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • The ability to be a team player but have the capacity to work independently.

  • A strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Have a demonstrated commitment to Democratic and progressive causes.

  • Experience with SPSS; strongly recommended but not required.

Other qualifications:

  • Familiarity with voter files and other political data sources is helpful but not necessary.

  • Prior experience in political campaigns, grassroots organizing, public opinion research, data analysis, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
