Junior Analyst Position

Located on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, we are currently searching for qualified candidates to fill the associate-level position of Junior Analyst. This position has the option to be remote.
Responsibilities include:
Assist research projects from beginning to end, working with clients to ensure research is tailored to their needs and goals.
Develop quantitative/qualitative research instruments to gauge public opinion, test and refine campaign messaging, identify strategic voter universes, and forecast Election Day performance.
Use SPSS and/or Q to analyze data for significant findings.
Produce innovative reports and presentations of findings for clients which communicate data heavy concepts in the most effective and meaningful way.
Draft memos and other written content, and proofread for grammar and data accuracy.
Ideal candidates will possess:
A college degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with long or irregular hours.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
The ability to be a team player but have the capacity to work independently.
A strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
Have a demonstrated commitment to Democratic and progressive causes.
Experience with SPSS; strongly recommended but not required.
Other qualifications:
Familiarity with voter files and other political data sources is helpful but not necessary.
Prior experience in political campaigns, grassroots organizing, public opinion research, data analysis, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
