Bennett Lipscomb, Senior Associate
Bennett Lipscomb is a Senior Associate at Lincoln Park Strategies working with political campaigns, issue advocacy, corporate, and non-profit organizations. Bennett holds quantitative and qualitative research experience at various polling firms representing clients at the national, state, and local levels. In the 2014 campaign cycle, his work focused on education, environmental issue advocacy, Democratic caucuses, and various state and local campaigns. In the past, Bennett organized focus groups and swing state polling for Presidential, U.S. Senate, and House campaigns.
Before joining Lincoln Park Strategies, Bennett worked as a transportation policy analyst at the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO) focusing on the transportation needs of metropolitan areas across the country. At AMPO, he acted as a liaison between member MPOs and Congress, helping to translate the needs of metropolitan regions into beneficial action in legislation. In addition, Bennett developed policy papers and research on the importance of metro regions, and their transportation systems, to the national and global economies.
Bennett’s polling, research, and legislative background enables him to examine a campaign or an organization’s mission from unique perspectives given his experience in both analyzing data and achieving tangible legislative results.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Bennett holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from American University, where he focused his studies on advanced policy analysis, and received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. While most of the office disagrees, he believes that being a Duke fan shouldn’t be held against him.
